Steps to make Dakor na Gota:
  1. Wash chilli and peel ginger.
  2. Pound coriander and fennel seeds. Also pound ginger chilli.
  3. In a bowl take curd. Add pounded chilli ginger, fennel coriander, turmeric, salt, red chilli powder, sugar and 1 tbsp oil.
  4. Whip it nicely moving in one direction.
  5. Take besan and semolina.
  6. Add it to curd paste.
  7. Mix it thoroughly moving in one direction. Add required amount of water.
  8. Normally chopped coriander is added but i have added methi leaves.
  9. Rest it for 15-20 minutes.
  10. Take green chillies, cut it in halves and fry it in hot oil. Frying chilli first will lower the temperature and fritters won't burn.
  11. Add soda and 1 tbsp hot oil to batter. Mix it nicely. Drop batter in hot oil on medium flame. Cook it on both sides.
  12. Serve Dakor na gota with curd, fried chilli and besan kadhi.
