  14. Take 1-2 dried red chilli
  15. Take 1 black cardomom
  16. Take 1 pinch hing
  17. Prepare 2 tbsp pudina leaves
  18. Get 1 tbsp coriander leaves
  19. Take 1 tbsp Everest Chicken Masala (optional)
  20. Get As needed Oil
  21. Make ready 1/2 tsp Sabut jeera
  22. Make ready As needed Lukewarm water
Instructions to make Malvani Chicken Pudina:
  1. Khada Garam Masalas : Laung, Elaichi, Dalchini.
  2. Take a pan, add khobra slices & onion to it. Dry roast them till golden brown. Now let it cool down a bit. Now add this mixture toa grinder & grind them into a smooth paste.
  3. Heat a pan, add 6 to 7 tbsp of oil into it. Shallow fry the potato pieces, now remove them and add sabut jeera, khada garam masalas, bay leaf, dried red chilli & a pinch of hing. Let them turn little brown, now add tomato puree & ginger-garlic paste to it. Fry it for about 2 to 3 mins. Now add the grinded mixture to it. Mix everything well.
  4. Now add turmeric powder, salt, half tsp sugar, coriander-cumin powder, garam masala powder, kashmiri red chilli powder and mix everything well with the masalas. Fry the masala on a low flame until oil starts seperating from the masalas.
  5. Now add chicken & potato pieces to it. Mix everything well. Now cover the pan & cook it in a low flame for about half an hour. Add half a cup then again cover it and cook it for 10 more mins. You will now notice that the chicken pieces has become tender now and oil has started releasing the pan.
  6. Now transfer the chicken into the pressure cooker, add a glass of lukewarm water. Add pudina leaves & coriander leaves to it. Add Everest chicken masala & salt to it. Give it a good mix. Now on a high flame wait for 2 whistles till it's done. Your Malvani delicacy is now ready to serve with rice or chapatis πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹
