- Wash mackerel and deep cut on both sides,add juice of half lemon salt,1/2 tsp turmeric and 1 tsp red chilli powder and marinate half an hour. Soak kokum in Luke warm water for 15 minutes(3 to 4 tbsp water).
- Take a bowl add kokum water and mash the kokum in it, add gram flour, suji,1/2 tsp turmeric,1 tsp red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, salt and make a thick batter, if required add little water. Add marinated fish and again marinate 30 to 60 minutes
- Take a pan add oil, heat oil on medium flame, fry mackerel on both the side, bangda fish is ready to serve, serve it some lemon
